I think the admins could spend there time on something more..... useful, if you want to save money.... DONT SPEND IT
Great advice. Doesn't work when you accidentally add an extra zero.
Here's a different idea:
Let players set a spending limit before they'd be asked for confirmation.
Example:
Player: /balance
System: Your balance is 1000000 bamboo
Player: (World) oof, better be careful with my money
Player: /spendlimit 500
System: Spending limit has been set to 500
Player: /cost Dragonfang
System: The item Dragonfang costs 1100 Bamboo to buy, and gives 200 when you sell it.
Player: /buy Dragonfang
System: Your spending limit (500) is too low for this purchase (1100)
Player: /tempspend 2000
System: Your temporary spending limit has been set to 2000. It will return to 500 after your next purchase
Player: /checklimit
System: Your spending limit is 500, and temporary spending limit is 2000
Player: /buy dragonfang
*Player recieves dragonfang*
System: You have bought a dragonfang for 1100 bamboo. Your new balance is 9998900 bamboo.
Player: /buy dragonfang
System: Your spending limit (500) is too low for this purchase (1100)
This prevents accidental large purchases, without altering balances at all. Please pardon not using exact purchase texts, you get the idea :3
