is the saying true "once corrupt, always corrupt" if not how do you become un corrupt and how long would it take?

The best way, is to be better in the community, help people, giveaways, activitiy.
The best way to make your self better, is to make more people see you in a better way, Its hard to change/gain reputation, but extremely easy to loose it, the best thing you can do, is just play, don't focus on becoming "un-corrupt", just focus on playing. The more "normal" you play, the less people think you are "corrupt". Over time Ive gained a good amount of liking, but its not because I asked for it, it just came through helping the community, take this to heart, or let it pass, your life, is your descion
