I was just banned for an hour and was wandering if I could still become a mod/admin

We do accept people who have bans, however, depends on severity.

This will show you what we look at, how we decide applications and what you could do to improve your chances of being accepted.
HOWEVER there are categories I left out in the making of that tip guide.

Doesn't directly disqualify you, but obviously will be leveraged in your application by administrators.
