Guys,

We are open to your suggestions and have not scrapped this idea in particular. However, we have had a Vanilla server three other times in the past, and the story is always the same: A lot of people play on it for the first few days, then it dies off and no one ever joins it.

I don't see how adding it again would make things any different.

Maybe it wasn't hyped up before like it's being hyped up now?

It was. This is what always happens with vanilla servers:

• - People get hyped up;
  - They play for hours and get a lot of really good gear;
  - They die and lose their good loot;
  - They give up and leave the server because they don't want to waste all those hours again.

It's like a cycle.

But still, I would like to play again on a Russia Vanilla with a big group of friends.

Oh well then in that case maybe not creating the vanilla server would be the smarter move here.

My group and I played on the server for a month+. There were almost always people on. It eventually does die down yes. Why is this different. I’m sure people will take a break of vanilla if they get bored or die. This happens with all servers. Let it play it’s course. I am sure I will be on there for a while and it seems like other will too. Atleast this server will be populated and it is unique in the Pandahut community as will be the only vanilla.

We went ahead and switched Server #20 (Hawaii) to Vanilla+ Russia temporarily. If it does well, we will find a permanent IP for it in the near future.
